DAVID D. SYMONDS,
BCLS
David Symonds was born and raised on the Saanich Peninsula outside of Victoria on Vancouver Island. He started with Kenyon Wilson immediately upon graduating from the BC Institute of Technology in 2002 and received his commission as a BC Land Surveyor in June 2010.
His specialties include Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) observations and reductions, construction layout and strata development.
David has worked as a Senior Party Chief and Project Land Surveyor for Kenyon Wilson on surveys across Vancouver Island. His recent projects include large Treaty Settlement surveys in Toquaht Bay and the Sarita River Valley near Bamfield. Locally, he has been involved with both small and large scale developments.
David is married and enjoys rowing and competing at local and international regattas. He is an active committee member with the Association of BC Land Surveyors and a Director with the Maple Bay Rowing Club.
